Biography
Geewon Kim is a foreign attorney at Yoon & Yang LLC and his main practice areas include corporate law, construction, intellectual property and MENA.
Before earning his legal qualifications, Mr. Kim completed his studies in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Seoul National University. His professional journey includes significant contributions to numerous projects in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region as a construction and cost engineer under the Construction Division of Samsung C&T Corporation. This experience has equipped him with a unique blend of technical and legal expertise.
Currently, he is serving as a Transaction Adviser on Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects being carried out in several countries in East Africa. His responsibilities encompass providing legal and regulatory advice, drafting contractual documents, and overseeing the entire bidding process. This role allows him to leverage his unique blend of skills and experiences to facilitate successful project outcomes.
