Biography
Dong-Won Jung is a partner at Yoon & Yang LLC, and his main practice areas include international trade, customs duties, energy & resources, intellectual property, and administrative disputes.
Mr. Jung served as an investigating officer at the Korea Trade Commission under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, where he also participated in the WTO DDA trade remedy standard agreement negotiations and the Korean delegation to the Anti-Dumping Committee. He also worked on several disputes including the administrative litigation regarding safeguard on Chinese garlic, the WTO panel dispute and administrative litigation on Indonesian wood-free paper, and the Korean delegation to the Korea-Japan semiconductor countervailing duty dispute. Also, Mr. Jung has handled various anti-dumping investigations regarding a wide range of items such as chemicals, steel, machinery, textile, and paper, and he conducted PDP patent infringement investigation and external investigation on infringement of LED patent. He is currently representing companies regarding anti-dumping investigations, and providing advice and litigation services relating to product safety and energy laws, not to mention the WTO and FTAs, as a member of the Renewable Energy Policy Evaluation Commission under the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, member of the Self-Regulation Review Committee under the Korea Agency for Technology and Standards, and member of the Korea Electrotechnical Standards Committee.
